When you use Image Pro Tools for Google Slides™, you may provide:

  • Your Google account email address (for licensing + Pro feature access)

  • Uploaded images (when using the Image Library)

  • Support requests (email or form submissions)

We do not collect passwords or authentication tokens.

1.2. Information retrieved via Google APIs

To deliver core functionality inside Google Slides™, the add-on accesses:

✔ Google Slides™ Data

Used exclusively to:

  • Insert images

  • Replace images

  • Arrange, align, resize, or export images

  • Create or update slides (for Pro features)

✔ Google Drive™ Data (optional)

Accessed only when you connect a Drive folder for Image Library features:

  • Reading folder contents

  • Uploading images

  • Generating thumbnails

  • Inserting selected assets into slides

We never:

  • Read files outside the folder you select

  • Access your Drive without your action

  • Scan or index your Drive

  • Store your Drive content on our servers

✔ Google Identity (email only)

Used to:

  • Determine whether your plan is Free or Pro

  • Sync licensing with Stripe (when applicable)

  • Provide trial access

We never access:

  • Contact data

  • Profile photos

  • Account settings

1.3. Billing Information (Stripe)

When you upgrade to Pro:

  • Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant global payment provider

  • Stripe may collect your name, email, card details, billing country, VAT ID (if applicable)

We never see or store your full payment details.
We store only:

  • Your Stripe customer ID

  • Subscription status

  • Billing events relevant to licensing

We use your information only for these purposes:

  • Insert and convert images

  • Manage your Image Library

  • Apply grid, alignment, and layout features

  • Store folder selections for your usage

  • Determine if you are Free or Pro

  • Manage trials and subscriptions

  • Sync billing status with Stripe

  • Respond to emails

  • Provide troubleshooting

  • Inform you of updates or issues (rare)

✔ Security & Abuse Prevention

  • Prevent unauthorized use of Pro features

  • Protect against misuse or excessive API calls

We do NOT use your data for:

❌ Any purpose unrelated to the add-on’s function

We store minimal account data in:

  • Google Firestore (Firebase) for licensing

  • Google Cloud Storage (ONLY when Pro users save images to the Image Library)

  • Stripe (billing & subscription events)

We do not store copies of your presentations or Drive files.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.

We share data only with:

Stripe

For handling payments & subscription management.

Google Cloud Platform

For secure hosting, Firestore, and authentication.

No other sharing occurs.

🔹 5. Data Retention & Deletion

Pro Licensing Data

  • Stored as long as your account remains active

  • Deleted within 30 days of a deletion request

Image Library Data

  • You fully control all Drive folders

  • Removing the folder instantly removes access

  • Nothing remains on our servers

User Account Data

You may request deletion at any time by emailing:

  • Licensing records

  • Image Library metadata

  • All related information

🔹 6. Google API Limited Use Compliance

Image Pro Tools for Google Slides™ follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This means:

✔ We only use Google user data to provide or improve features the user interacts with

✔ We do not transfer Google user data except to provide or improve features

✔ We do not use Google account data for advertising

✔ We do not sell or share Google user data

✔ We do not allow humans to read user data unless:

  • You explicitly request support

  • Required by law

  • Necessary for security or abuse prevention

We maintain strict technical controls and auditing in all cases.
